El huracán Irma se acerca a República Dominicana con fuertes lluvias y vientos

El poderoso huracán Irma, de categoría 5, la máxima, se encuentra al norte de República Dominicana, donde está causando fuertes lluvias y vientos, tras dejar atrás Puerto Rico.

El ojo del huracán Irma se mueve a 26 kilómetros por hora hacia el noroeste de República Dominicana y está a 155 kilómetros de Punta Cana, según el último informe del Centro Nacional de Huracanes.

Un total de 17 provincias, entre ellas Santo Domingo, la capital, se encuentran en alerta roja (máxima), 12 en alerta amarilla (intermedia) y tres en verde (mínima), mientras que en Haití se declaró la alerta roja en todo el país.
