Pau Gasol, player of the Spanish basketball team and NBA team San Antonio Spurs, has become the new ambassador of the airline Iberia. The athlete will collaborate on a series of actions, as unveiled in a ceremony held by Iberia at its headquarters.
The company qualifies Pau Gasol as an “extraordinary ambassador,” not only for his excellent human qualities as well as successes, but by the commitment and social action performed by Gasol Foundation and its collaboration with NGOs.
During the celebration of the event the Iberia Singular card, the most exclusive of the company, was given to Pau Gasol. Among the services that can enjoy the people possessing it, we found VIP parking at airports in Madrid and Barcelona, among others. Meanwhile, the footballer and now entrepreneur Cristiano Ronaldo, after selling luxury custom blankets, has just released “CR7 Selfie”.
It is an application with which the user can brag to his friends and family that he has been with the Portuguese footballer in a party, a karaoke and even picking up the Golden Boot. And that’s because the tool has a wide range of images of Cristiano Ronaldo and more than 39 filters to make this “photoshopped” encounter seem as real as possible.
The funds raised from the sale of the app that will cost 1.99 euros and 0.99 more for each additional image of Ronaldo, will go to Save The Children, an NGO for which the player is an ambassador since 2013.
“We are grateful to Cristiano Ronaldo by this new partnership and the work done to raise awareness of the problems faced by children worldwide. This project, along with the power of social networks, will have an incredible impact on the children worldwide “, commented on this news the CEO of Save the children in Spain, Andrés Conde.
